Open three days a week to all families in the Seattle area.

Updated information during COVID-19 social distancing period:

El Centro de la Raza’s Food Bank is open to all. In an attempt to ensure that we have enough food for everyone, we impose a limit on the number of weekly visits: once per week for regular distributions, and once per week for “commodities” distributions. Due to Covid-19, we do not have zip code restrictions for commodities until further notice. Please note that we will be closed on Thursday and Friday during the Thanksgiving holiday week.

Current Hours (please bring a photo ID):
Wednesdays are for Seniors and mobility limited individuals
Thursdays 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Fridays 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm

Thanksgiving Basket Distribution Details:
Limit one basket per household.
Tuesday 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6:30pm
Wednesday 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm

Under normal circumstances:
Our Food Bank provides nutritious, emergency and supplemental food to low-income individuals and families in the Seattle area three days a week. The Food Bank also assists people in securing food stamps and other non-emergency food resources, and provides nutrition education. El Centro de la Raza Food Bank is open to all. To ensure that we have enough food for everyone, each family is allowed one visit a week. In addition, every Friday morning we distribute food from the government or “commodities.”
