Gives ELL students skills to help obtain and maintain employment

ELL studentsĀ build skills that will help them obtain and maintain employment. Youth engage in a variety of workshops to buildĀ skills in areas like interviewing and resume writing. Students complete a groupĀ projectĀ using their skillsĀ to work and collaborate with others in the working world. The programĀ provides one-on-one mentoring and support services to assist in academic and career goal setting. After training in the classroom is completed, studentsĀ are placed at an internship that aligns with their future career interests. YouthĀ receive a stipend after completing allĀ training and activities. Bilingual parent workshops are also provided to help parents support youth in their career goals.
