Summer Youth Learning Program

Summer curriculum for middle school students

This six-week program is designed to address summer learning loss and helps engage middle school students in educational activities. The curriculum focuses on math, reading, writing and a cultural component where the youth learn about civil rights, social justice, indigenous cultures, art and other cultural studies. The curriculum is parallel with the common core standards set for the Seattle Public Schools and works in collaboration with the middle schools to provide the appropriate curriculum to meet individual student needs.
