Roberto Maestas Youth Leadership Institute

Addresses opportunity gaps for high school and college bound students.

Addresses opportunity gaps in K-12 and post-secondary education by empowering 30-40 marginalized Latino youth in the Seattle/King County area to grow as leaders and positively engage in their communities. The Institute provides monthly in-depth and culturally competent civic engagement workshops targeted to high school youth and college-bound young adults during the academic year that examine issues impacting the Latino community. It also provides resources and community involvement opportunities.
