Proposal to Boost Funding for Arts, Science and Heritage Education on August Ballot

In August, King County voters will now have the option to boost funding for arts, sciences, and heritage education and access. Last Tuesday on the steps of El Centro de la Raza, community leaders and organizations came together to kick off the YES on Prop. 1 campaign that will support these educational advancements. As Renton Superintendent-elect Dr. Pattenaude stated: “In a district where more than half of our students rely on free and reduced lunch, Proposition 1 will be instrumental to leveling the playing field so all students have access to arts, science and heritage education.” Volunteer here or donate here to help make these transformed educational outcomes a reality!
